Is Youtube shorts worth it?

Basically, Youtube shorts gives content creators the ability to make their content more popular by publishing short vids (less than 30 seconds) in a form of stories, unfortunately, views from Shorts don't count in watching hours, which means, they don't help in monetization, but it increases your chance of getting more subscribers.
Do you think it is worth it?

I am not into youtube, therefore, I have never created shorts for youtube. However, as a user, I did not like this feature. The short videos do not give much information.

YouTube short are actually quite is worth it because there is no way that these advertisements pop up on videos that it won't attract people's attention especially when the advertisements are quite attractive and interesting.

As we all know YouTube is one place that provides everyone who is interested in uploading basically videos to do so, over the years that have helped store up millions of videos and play a major role in advertisement and dissemination of timely informations. So I think it is worth it.

I do not watch long videos on YouTube because I feel that it is a waste of time. My videos are mostly shorts and the longest is an exercise video that is 7 minutes long. It has less than 1,000 views so I guess it is not really a good one. Making a long video is tedious and if I get few views then it is not worth it.

well, they aren't being meant for any business purpose but as an easier way to gain subscribers as people come across your short vids more easier than regular videos

YouTube is no doubt one of the ways of making money if well utilized. There is no doubt that one can make a fortune from it as well. But it is not to be involved in except by ones with determination.

Personally I do not like when videos on youtube are taking a lot of time to finish because I get bored.And that's why I think that Yotube shorts is worth it.Although I do not watch it much I think it still worth it.

If it doesn't help in the monetizing process but what you're intending to use it for is been met, then it is worth it for the work you intended it for since YouTube monetization is not the aim you're doing it for

Yes!! it is. I have two channels where I am only posting shorts. I am not getting monetization. But I am making money with it by affiliate marketing.

It is definitely worth it since it increases your chance of getting a lot of subscribers. when you get a lot of subscribers then those people will still watch your videos.

As a creator you should always make sure they you do things that would enable you to grow. If you feel that the shirts would gibe you exposure then you should hop on it
