I found a domain I really want but as of now, it is $800. I don't want to pay a premium cost like that for one domain. The most I am willing to spend at this point is $300.

Is there any way of getting the price lower? Or is this something I just have to wait and watch for?

There are a lot things you need to include in the explanation. Is the $800 a registrar fees? The domain listed for sale at a marketplace for $800? If it is the registrar fees, I don't know or don't think you can get it at lower fees. But, if it is listed in marketplace for $800 by its owner, you can make your offer through the marketplace. If the domain does not have a make offer, then you can contact the marketplace to help you contact the owner.

I am talking specifically about buying them directly from places like GoDaddy so the cost mentioned is what they are selling for on those sites. Not from a domain flipper or auction site that requires extra fees.

There are many things that must be included in a will. Is the $850 a registration fee? A domain for sale on the marketplace for $800? Not sure if that's the registrar's fee. Or I don't think you can get it for a lower rate. However, if the owner has a Marketplace listing for $800, you can bid through the Marketplace. If the domain has no offers, you can contact the owner by contacting Marketplace

I don't think there's way you can get the domain at lower, if I understand you well. The price you see at the GoDaddy is likely a registra fees and they hardly reduce it.

there are various ways of getting huge discount when purchasing domains especially from platforms like namecheap, bluehost etc. just go on google and search for domain discount coupon from namecheap

I think that if it is on a marketplace platform then you can bid for it akin to an auction and maybe obtain it for a lower price. In my opinion, I don’t think this is the registrar’s fee, and if it is, then that price is set in stone

As per my knowledge, I believe that there is a platform called Bluehost that sell domains at cheaper prices than the registrar's fee, which would surely be financially advantageous.

also there is a method a friend of mine used one certain time, though luck was on his side as well, we meet someone online who had a premium domain and was passing through financial difficulties, he had to sell for way less the price.

Then you had better put more effort in finding similar domain name and buy then flip because that site that's being priced for $800 will soon get a bidder of $1000 or more

I doubt it's possible to get a premium domain name at a lower price than the original selling price. I haven't seen a person get a premium domain for a lower price.

Look for the same domain name for another extension, you might not even have to pay $50 let alone pay $800 for just one domain name. I believe there is no necessity of paying such a huge price for a domain name.

There are various strategies for lowering the cost of a premium domain. Buying a packaged package is a great way to save money on a premium domain. When you acquire numerous domains from a particular domain registrar, many of them will give you a reduced price. Consider subscribing to their newsletter or frequently visiting their website to see if there are any deals or discounts present. Additionally, you can seek for any discounts or promotions that the domain registrar may be running. Watch out for them since they can help you save money. You can compare costs offered by various domain registrars by doing your own research.
