We've had a new COD game for the past 20+ years. And honestly the COD fatigue is real. I haven't played a COD game in the past few years I want to say. I played the newer Modern Warfare and I think the one to follow, but I haven't touched the series since and I honestly don't think I will again. Do you think with how long we've been graced by this franchise, that it would be time to take a little break from the series for a year or two? Maybe more?

Well, I haven't played COD since Black Ops III, so I'm a little disconnected from the saga, but I think it would be good if they did not release a game every year or every two years, because as you say, it can fatigue players and tire them, as happened to me with Fifa, I have not bought it since FIFA 19 because I was tired of always the same.

I think now there is another type of Call of duty called Warzone, which is free, if they focused more on a COD game that would be updated over time it would be better from my point of view.

I used to be a huge fan of Call of DUTY but for the last few years now, playing the newer game has definitely not been something I have had an interest in. I would go as far as to say Call of Duty burnout.

With them releasing a new one every year they are not giving themselves time for new ideas and it ends up being the same thing with a few changes.

Taking a break and coming up with new ideas would be their better choice at this point.

Microsoft after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, they announced Call of Duty will no longer be a yearly release video game. I don't know if they plan on making it every 2 years or 3 years but all I can say is that it's better to stop releasing the game every year. They should end the game because it's among the best shooting games we play.
