Is it a bad thing to change your domain a lot? I feel like I can kinda answer this. I believe changing your domain a lot, hurts SEO, especially when it comes to ranking and indexing of your site. Google should find the new domain fast and index it, but it could hurt your following as well.

But what other problems can it cause?

It can be. It really depends. I personally would not change my domain at all and rather have a new domain redirect to the original one if I was going to change anything.

I don't think it's a good idea to change one's domain a lot because like you said it could affect search engine optimization and it could also affect traffic on one's site.

it does not make sense to continuously change your domain name as this would make you seem like a fake or as if you do not know what you are doing and would definitely harm the business you are building

You're absolutely right by saying this, I also don't think if it is a bad idea for one to change his or her domain lot, one can be able to change domain lot anytime he wants.

it is definitely a bad idea to change your domain name a lot, think about the numbers of visitors you would be losing by constantly doing this as some would not be able to find you.

People are going to perceive you to have negative motives if you are always changing your domain name. You might not get it right at first but then you should avoid changing it to frequently.

After taking about three to six months to get in the good books of Google, why would someone want to change their domain name? I feel like it's useless,s ince it's your content that brings people to your site and not the domain.

The domain you use also helps in bringing traffic to your site, especially if it is a popular phrase or word, this can bring in a lot of organic traffic on a daily basis to your website without you doing anything

When you change the domain, you will also have to build backlinks for the new domain, you will have to do digital marketing for the new domain and you even have to submit for adsnese for approval. It is not a good idea to change a domain.

This happens for domain flippers who buy expired domain names. The address will still have some visitors regularly if it was popular. This was listed as one feature of a good domain to flip.

Changing of a website domain very often is not good. It affect the indexing of the website by Google. Another problem that could arise from this is loosing of regular readers. When you always change your domain, your readers will not reason to trust your website again.

Yes, changing your domain name a lot can hurt not just your SEO but also can hurt how many people come back to your site as well. Many people tend to remember a good domain name that is easy to remember so when going for a domain name I always go for something simple and easy. If you keep changing it once people have got used to the name of the site and the domain unless they have it saved in their favorites and you have a redirect set up. People will also take you less seriously when you keep changing the domain name as well.

Sometimes it will be by necessity for company changing its legal name or its activities like picoworkers to sprout gigs or something like that so it is not a choice to keep old domain name.

Changing of domain would not be encouraged because it seemed you didn't plan before you created your website. Also, I see scammers to be responsible of changing domain so as to cheat on people. There are some forum's hat have changed their domain name to run away with people's earnings.

This makes a lot of sense. I believe that people should do enough research to determine a very good domain name for their business and not jump into it and forced with the decision of changing it every now and then.

Changing your domain frequently can be harmful for both your positions in search engines and your brand's image with customers. Additionally, updating all of your site's links when you change your domain can be a time-consuming procedure.

It is quite bad because it will affect the number of visitors or the traffic that you have on your website so it is just good to stick with one domain name and gain popularity

the domain flipping business is very lucrative, i believe that big companies like namecheap are also involved in this business model as they ask you to bid for some certain domains.

People show interest for this bid because they calculate that returns will be bigger if they won the bid this is reason behind this kind of participation from their part.
