Personally, i'll rather invest in a real business where i can monitor it's activities than to invest in an online business. This I because there are alot of fraudsters online so many times we can't really tell which online business is genuine or not.

I'll disagree with you a hundred times over. Reason being that even investing in an offline business has same if not more risk in my view - consider the time taken for a new business to grow from being visible to having an established clientele base.
Online businesses can give you such exposures quicker.
