Is blogging still paying?

I made good money prior to 2020 and since then? My blogs hardly earn me anything. It is sad and sucks. I go in waves of trying to make them work and just giving up again.

MY blog earnings started dropping during the corona virus pandemic. Some of my blogs were earning me more than $100 per month through adsense but these days the same blogs do not even earn $50 in a month. I was earning upto $12 per click but these days my average CPC rate is just 14 cents.

Google is simply making it very difficult for people to make a good amount of money from using their Adsense. It's really a shame that even if you look at what they are paying, it is still better when it is compared to other options out there to be used to monetize someone's blog or website.
