Is a university degree and automatic tickets for securing a job?

I don't know if this is the same in other countries but in my country university degree is getting more useless and useless everyday. We graduate and post-graduate Hawking things on the streets. I sometimes wonder what plans government offices have for these people what I didn't realise that they also have a very important role to play. What are your thoughts ? is a university degree still worth it?

It was before school have value, people will graduate and get job instantly but now, getting job as a graduate is difficult because of the kind of leader we have, who don't have value for education and even them don't even go through school, so education mean nothing to them

That is a very far reasoning from reality for whomsoever is having this kind of thought at these times. If a university degree were to be an automatic ticket for employment, why are there so many unemployed graduates than employed ones

Well considering where I am and I'm from, this might have been a sure case some years back but nowadays the level of employment is very high and even as a graduate there are no guarantees whatsoever

In my country, this is falacy. When millions of graduate in world are faced with lack of work. University degree can not easily guarantee you job.

You can get a job with your university degree, but its not automatic.
There are many people still roaming the streets with files stuck in their armpits. Run a check on them and you'll see they have excellent certifications.

I can boldly say that since my country is "a developing nation" then it doesn't stand the chance to gaining that. I have a Bachelor's degree and it never actually helped me to secure a job. I do not think that getting a degree would mean that you will get a job indefinitely. There are many unemployed people in my country who are well-educated.

There are still some countries (especially developed countries) where getting a University degree still gives you access to good jobs but in most developing countries, that is not the case, you must have certain skills before you can be gainfully employed.

The case is quite different in my country as there are lots of unemployed graduate in my country. This has create a stiff competition for every fresh graduate year in year out.

In my Country, the university degree may not count, your certificate is just a stepping stone to the labour market, you may not necessarily find a job in your field, that's why you find chemistry graduates working in the banks, no correlation. I am a geography graduate and currently work as a customer support specialist making me to further my studies in human resources management.

I believe we are living in the same country because that is the case in my country too, jobless graduates everywhere. In fact people who didn't attend school at all are making more money than graduates thereby rendering education useless.

The aqusition of a higher degree is not a bad idea,it all depends on the country and the relevace of the curriculum that will fit into what the industries really needs.If the system cn be structured to what the industries demand then the degree will be relevant.

If there is such guarantee,the menace we are experiencing now will be a thing of the past,but no certainty in the degree, that's why we opt for our personal hunt.
