Do you ever feel intimidated by other forum members or owners that seem to be more experienced or accomplished? Do you try to impress them or just look up to them for their knowledge and feedback?

To be frank I never try to impress anyone. The thing is some people are good and helpful, but most of the people you meet online are the exact opposite. Trying to impress those kind of people will end up badly. Mostly in flaming.
Anyway there are some people I have met through forum hoopla and webgurubb who are really nice. You don't need to impress that kind of people. So why bother impressing other epople when you have got your own life. Try to impress yourself, that will not go bad! :p

*hint hint*, I'm the nice one. :p

I never try to impress people online, I really don't see the point in attempting to be someone I am not. However, I do get pissed off at those who need to use forums as some sort of medium to show themselves off. It's fine to be experienced and know more than others, but some cross the line and become way too cocky with it.

I never try to impress anyone, though if someone wants help and I can provide the help, then I'll normally give them the help needed.

I know some (but not many) people who do do this however, and it does annoy me. However, I never feel intimated by these people, as I know even if I'm not as good as them, I'm a better person.

Why would I feel intimidated? They're people just like you and me ... why should the fact that they own a popular forum make them intimidating? Also, it's totally cool to impress people but your main goal shouldn't be to impress people. Set your goals and do your thing. Naturally some people will be impressed, but don't just start up websites trying to impress people ... it just seems odd.
