Injustice is all-present in the world, so the sport is not any different. I really hate those moments when judges make rules in favor of other countries when it is very clear the f-up. For instance, if you have countries that are well known in basketball and they make some really f-up thing, they will be punished much less than any other country.
When my country was played against Italy I think, it was a game of 4 matches and we won first 2 BUT, the moment we won there was an argument and Italian dude grabbed from behind our best player and slammed him on the floor like it's judo which made him not play next two games. A crippling moment for us. And, that dude was punished with some super soft punishment by FIBA. It's such injustice but that's how world works, money baby.
