I love Navratri, Diwali and Raksha Bandhan. I don't like Holi too much, i like getting other people colourful but i don't like getting coloured.

Well, I am an Indian. So, my opinion might seem strange to other people.
My favorite Indian festival would be Dasara. I like the goddess Durga a lot, when I was a kid and even now, I like her. I like the stories too. The pooja, festive mood....is just too cool to even describe.
We do get holidays during dasara, so all the kids and women arrange for the pooja...and it's fun. Getting together, just families and praying to the goddess and listening to her stories....it's the feel that I cherish the most.
Only Tirupathi would beat this festive mood, according to me.
