Importance of a DMOZ link in SEO

I just watched a video of Matt Cutts, in which he talks about the importance of DMOZ links. It turns out it doesn't have much importance. A Link from any website with the same pagerank of DMOZ is the same.

Yes it is, and if you can find a site that has the same PR or better, I would much rather put it on that site.
