If you were to remake any movie...

I would remake Eragon! It could be awesome if you used Weta Workshops (the New Zealand animation people used in Avatar and Lord of the Rings) + Peter Jackson. The movie was just such a let-down...

I wouldn't remake a movie per se, I would make a sequel to it though so I could see more of it. If I had to choose, it would be another LOTR (I don't care about the continuation of the story xD) , War of the Worlds or Step Bothers. That would be my dream list anyway!

The 5th and 6th films were not that great. They had such a huge book to condense, so they only display the basics where as the book is more subtle...

I would remake Eragon as well. That movie just flopped when it hit theaters. I can't believe they screwed that movie up that badly. They need someone like Peter Jackson to direct a movie like that because you can't take that big of a book and cram it into an 85 minute movie. That's why that movie was such a let-down. They tried cramming too much into too little. A book like that needs more time. I mean, look at all the Harry Potter movies. Those are kid movies and they still gave them 2 to 2 1/2 hours per movie. That's what they should have done with Eragon. They should have given it 2 to 2 1/2 hours, AT LEAST!

While the movie PI was awesome, I would focus more on the computer aspect rather than the personal aspect if I were to remake it.
