A lot of users turn directly to paid software such Xenforo and IPB due to a handful of scripts being offered by this paid software. I tend to stick to free software until I can get a return for the paid software. If for any reason MyBB or any other free software turns to premium like IPB would you still use it?

The reason to use a free or a paid software should not be based on the pricing, it should rather be based on the usability. If free software can get you everything you want, why should you use premium software.

If a paid software finally turns premium just the way you suggested Alex, I'll still go for it, if I'm enticed to it. I'll only spend such amount to upgrade to premium pack, if it is instrumental for me, and making returns from it.

If free software turns to premium, it better has features that are worth paying for. For the case of MyBB, if it is made premium, it may lose most of its users, because as it is, it lacks some features. Xenforo is premium but has a host of free features, and you can run it even without necessarily buying expensive addons. That is what makes it stand out from the rest.

If free software are no more free and turns to premium, they i dint have any choice than to upgrade to the premium and paid software , because of the benefits and the importance of the software to me.

I think the main reason why MyBB is such an attractive option for forums is that it is free but has a great selection of features, themes, and plugins. However, if they end up charging for it, I don't think it would hold up as well especially if you compare it to both XenForo and IPB. As a XF user, it's a lot better than MyBB

If free software are no more free I will definitely buy it so far I know the importance and benefits it's giving me. Especially if this software is in the are of my business I will definitely buy it to scale my business to the next level and go ahead of my competitiors in Business

I use wordpress. It is free. If wordpress was not free, would I use it? Well it depends. If I can find a free alternative which is as easy as wordpress and as powerful as wordpress, I would not pay for wordpress.

There are some important software on my phone that even if its not longer for free I will pay to have them because they are important for my work. So I can't really do without them.

This is quite a hard question to answer. To be specific, I would still use them if and only if I have the means to pay for the services they provide. Secondly, I will subscribe to the software as I stand to see how the trial version works before payment.

If free softwares that was once free and are no longer free, I will still have to use such softwares if it had had a great impact on my business

The nature of software invariably poses the issue of how to make decisions about its use. Consider the situation where one person who has a copy of a programme encounters another who wants a copy. They have the ability to copy the programme; who can determine if this is done? Who are the people involved? Or a third party, referred to as the "owner."

really depends on that software and how much the price that it's given after that it's no longer free, if i really use it on a daily basis, i would still buy it, but if it's out of my budget, i will just look for alternatives

I honestly would consider what features I need, and if I can get addons to help obtain those features, without breaking the bank. If a particular free software went paid, I would definetly take into consideration features, and how much I have to pay to get additional needed features.

It depends if the software is worth it, I mean if the software is living up to it beadings, then i will gladly buy it or pay for it, if it later becomes a paid software. Some software are not really worth even they become paid is better to forget them.

This depends on how valuable and helpful the software has being to me. There are many software I'm using now that I'm ready to pay for if they are no longer free.

It depend if free software is not longer free again so far is good to use I will ahead using it, I think I have to buy it or to pay that, so that I can use it.

As long as i need it and it is used to me once i cam afford it then i will keep on using it but iff i should have an alternative that will serve the same purposee them i am switching

If a software that I have been using free of charge before actually becomes premium, I would continue using it because I know the value that I'm getting from it and if I'm not getting any value from it I wouldn't have been using it.

For a software that i am using asked me to upgrade to a primium, and i have seen that the features and added value it comes with are things that would benefit me greatly in my endeavours i would pay for the service and continue to enjoy the best it has to offer.
