Advertisement Placeholder
There is certainly the texture, the texture of counterfeit bank notes are always different from the original and you could observe this by either squeezing or lifting the notes towards the sun so you can see the security details which are hidden and made only visible by direct sunlight counterfeit notes doesn't have these.

A fake note or a counterfeit note could be detected by placing the currency under the UV light and this will actually review what is needed in the original currency and if it is a fake then it could be easily detected.

@Reedex,I have notice this before in a bank I see where people uses fake counter note trying to make a deposit with it the bank will collect the note and placed it under a blue light I think that is the vu light you are talking about, its one of those ways which bank are using to detect fake notes

This could be a fraudulent activity and dangerous because such activities can let a person entering to the prison means in the end of terms you have to be carefull about such activities.

This might sound funny , counterfeit notes at hard to detect but in my neighbourhood, they normally squeezed the notes if they suspect its a counterfeit , and if its real the notes will rise up but if its fake , it will remain squeezed.

There are several ways to detect a counterfeit note, and each method depends on the specific features of the bill. Here are a few of the most common ways to tell if a note is fake:

- Look at the bill's texture. Counterfeit notes are often made with low-quality materials, so they will feel different than real currency.

- Check the bill's color. Genuine notes are printed in multiple colors, while counterfeit bills often have a uniform color.

- Examine the bill's security features. Many real bills have unique security features that can be detected with a magnifying glass.

Most money, no matter what country you are in, will have ways of detecting this. There are pens, markers, etc. for quick tests or you just have to look for proper seals.

I don't know about other countries money I only know about ours. In my country you can easily know if it is real money using just your eyes. There is a thing that is usually found on real money but I don't know how to describe it in English. Maybe searching on YouTube for videos might help. Seeing the difference with your eyes is the best way.

You can be able to detect a counterfeit note most especially by the weight if you are already used to handling those sums of money. A counterfeit note is also one that does not easily return after being squeezed.

Sometimes it may be so difficult to discover a counterfeit note. The best way that one could determine a counterfeit note is by putting it under a UV light. This is what most of the banks in my country use to detect counterfeit notes.

It is popular that if you want to detect counterfeit notes then you should squeeze them and if they can be able to return to their original shape then they are original otherwise counterfeit.

Thats exactly how to detect counterfeit in my country , squeezing the currency and leaving it to return into its original shape and if it does not return , then it's probably a fake.

What security features do the notes in your country help a shopkeeper or merchant detect/refuse counter fit notes? As most of you probably know, I live in the United Kingdom. In the United Kingdom, there are multiple security features that UK Banknotes have that can identify and help a merchant refuse counter-fit notes.
I think in every countries currency there is always that feature that is always hard to replicate by these frauds. One must try to look out for those signs and fish them out.

I think you can start by examining the texture and how it feels in your hand. You might also want to look at it through a light to see if there's any trademark photo beneath it.

There are so many ways to detect counter-fit note. But I think the simplest way is to check for the texture of the note. Like in my country, the fake note cannot remain folded when it is squeezed, it will always spring back.

Counterfeit notes can be detected by their security markings placed or embedded in by the countries centraal bank. Every country's security features are different from the other. You only have to know those unique to your own country alone.

Normal counterfeit notes are usually smooth and also they vary in the colour to the original money that is supposed to be in use so you have to be on the lookout.

I think anyone that is not useful can be detected because counterfeit notes they are the original and also the fake so the one supposed to be detected.
