There are two ways to develop your career and make more money, one, change your career and do something that pays better, and two, upskill yourself so that you get better-paying jobs or promotions for a chance to earn better.

When you change your career, you will give up what you were doing for a completely new job. Let’s say you were working as a teacher, and you gave up your teaching profession and became a real estate agent. This is a change of career. It means starting from scratch.

Upskilling, on the other hand, means learning new skills and improving your knowledge in order to advance in your current career. For example, you might enroll in an MBA class so that you get better prospects, or learn copywriting in order to become a better marketer. This might involve taking training courses or even enrolling in an academic program.

I think there are many ways you can decide that. You could analyse the current position of your career. Moreover, you can do many other things in order to make sure that you make the right decision. You have to analyse the scope of your career and the future of your selected career.
