We are living in an era where we may encounter many competitors. Healthy competition is something many people may have no problem dealing with. However, problems arise when many competitors usually start posting fake reviews on many reviewing platforms in order to make your business look bad. So, in such circumstances, what would you do?

You don't need to worry about the fake reviews. What you should do will be to make your true customers to give the real reviews on the same website they posted fake reviews about your business. The good reviews will vindicate your business.

If the only thing my business competitors think they can do in other to bring my business down is by posting fake reviews about my business online, they have completely failed because they cannot be able to post more fake reviews than the positive reviews so many of my customers are going to be interested in posting because of the high quality in product and services they have received from my business.

Unfortunately, this is becoming a very common way of diverting the attention of people from your business. They may also add lines such as "all the positive reviews are fake" and other kind of tactics in order to stir controversy and doubts in the mind of readers.

It is easy to detect fake reviews now. You can use sites to check for these. Amazon alone has lead to several being created for both buyers and sellers.

Well, in case if someone posts a fake review about my business on websites such as trust pilot, then I would simply report such kind of fake review to the administrator. I will also pursue the feedback provider and ask him why he/she posted such kind of review. A good company always responds to reviews.

Trust Pilot won't contact anyone who posted a review on their website and start asking questions about it nor would they ask the users to delete his reviews. It's why they are called reviews and you're free to give your own review. You can contact the reviewer to know why or how they used your service which was displeasing and see if you can make it up to the user. If they decide to ignore you, there's nothing you can do.

You really shouldn't concern yourself much about that because in another words, it's called criticism. It might be a weakness they found in your business and they wished to exaggerate the whole matter.

I think you will have to just forget about those fake reviews, and encourage your customers to give you genuine reviews. I once was hired to do fake reviews, I was paid really well so I decided to do the job. The poor owner was replying to every reviews saying this is fake and it is from jealous competitor.
