How The Government Could Stop Money Laundering?

I would have to agree that money laundering is a systemic thing. A system that is fueled with corruption cannot ever see an end to money laundering. The best way to stop it is to cleanse the entire system.
Probably, stopping money laundering is something that the system needs to be subtly flushed out. Without changing the system there is no way such a thing will stop. New group of people need to stop such a thing.

The fact is that even the young ones coming up have been taught that it pays to be corrupt. Even at the level of primary school, they can't write exams in their own. We are already breeding the next generation of corrupt individuals.

I think that is actually very bad. in this part of the world the primary school children are actually exempted because when it comes to exams they do their best. But things are deteriorating.

In most countries, there will be an agency created to stop money laundering. This agency are empower to track all money laundering cases and prosecute those they mailed with evidence. However, the government that should be an actor in fighting money laundering are themselves involved in it.

Most of those agencies are highly politicized and can't do much to better the incidence of money laundering. I think strong laws would serve as deterrent. China has those hard penalties and it is working for them.
