How often should you promote your blog

How often do you think that you should promote your blog? Say you write an article every week, should you promote it 2-3 times before the next article comes out? Or, do you think that you should promote it more than that?

It depends on the niche. If you write about celebrities or new related stories, then daily is the best bet but if you do something like health or pets, promoting it as little as once or twice a week is enough.

I'd promote it as much as possible. Maybe, multiple times a day till you write the next one. It also depends where you're promoting it. If you're promoting on Twitter or to your Facebook friends, than yeah, promote it as much as possible. Just promote it where people expect it to be promoted.

Promote it as often as you can! Even if you don't write that many articles, it doesn't hurt to get more people looking at them.

Exactly! It's kind of like a numbers a game. The more you post, the more exposure you get, the more chances you get to find active users/readers.

I think that pretty much as much as you can is good. The more that you're posting, the more chance you have for someone to see it and go to the page.
