I am taking on a forum and I know that I have to be fairly active to keep it updated and such. I was just curious how often I should visit it once it is up and running?

I haven't run a website like this in years so I don't know how it will go at all. I'm willing to keep it active and be as active as I have to be though.

What do you guys think?

I think that if you have a website then you have ot be active on it at least for a few hours in a day because this will show people that you are serious about the site and its success as well.

I work on mine everyday if possible. Nearly all the time it's creating more drum lessons in the form of pictures (of notation) and sound files. However, I need to make more discussion-based threads/replies on it. Also, I need another poster who is knowledgeable about drum equipment.

I think that is is necessary for you to be active on the forum every day because to a large extent this will show users that you have an interest in the site as well.

I don't have a website yet but I think
You can use free software to build beautiful websites, I heard there are free paid tools that exist and they can be used in building a stunning site that will attract visitors to a site.

If it's a website which you're running personally you have to you have to always be active and readily available to attend to people visiting your web page but when you employ someone to run it for you, you can check it once in a day so see how it is running.

You need to be active everyday on your website so you can know where to improve on the website. Unless you're a very busy, you should stay for at least 5 hours on your website everyday. By being active, you'll know when the site need update.

That's also my opinion. A website need to be updated frequently. It's only the experience the touch of its owner that can be easily ranked by Google. There are many things that need to done on website, other than writing articles.

Yes, I but I think that the website should be upgraded when it is necessary to do so. I do not think that it should be upgraded each month as this may cause many visitors to become annoyed.

If I can, I try to work on mine every day.
It almost always produces new drum lessons in the form of images (of notation) and audio files.
I must, however, create more replies and topics for debate.
I also need another poster that knows something about drum gear.

It's very important to work in your website everyday so to know how its going even those you spend some time like 15 minutes before leaving it's ok, that is why it's very important to so.

If you are having your own website or any other kind of business you have to be active anytime there to show the people that you are really interested in that and you are there to solve everything at any moment so you need to be active and determine person that can run much more than lazy person.

I think that if you are handing the website personally, you must remain involved and ready to respond to website traffic. However, if you hire the services of another individual as a manager of the site, you can check it once a day to see how it is performing.

I created a website around 4 or 5 years ago and i used to write articles for my own site. I used for work for a couple of hours on the website and at that time it was fun.

I guess you have a real passion for writing with the way you describe it as fun. I have a question on my mind: Were you able to generate enough traffic to truly monetize your website to the fullest?

Yes, I am a writer, but I am not really a popular writer at all. You cannot say that I am a professional writer. However, I have worked for a few article writing sites. I do not engage in blogging.

Oh ok, @Good-Person that is nice to know. It would be good for you to start learning how to write in a professional capacity, in order for you to be extremely capable in this activity.

I strongly think that if you have a website then you have to always be active on it at least for a few hours in a day because this will show people that you are serious about the site and its success as well.
