How many spam sign ups do you get in a day?

How many spam sign ups get through your filters and you find you have to spam clean them?

I have about 5 sign ups a day. The filter catches them and holds them and I do the spam clean option.

It used to be a lot more until I started banning full email domains of the throwaway domain names (.ru, etc.)

I reckon that perhaps the spam abuse detection and blocking add-on handles that?

I used the built-in features on XenForo

I do have Google's reCAPTCHA (v2) enabled though. Here lately, I've found it more effective than security questions.

Sure, answers to security questions can just be googled and surely a bot can do that

Truth be told, it's rare for me to get a real sign up once a day - on a forum for a game which not very many people know about which is two years or more short from release!
