If you work for a big company, you might have a lot of meetings. And in those meetings, how many people are in there? Do you meet with the boss, some upper management etc?

The number of people in a meeting may depend on how many people are relevant in the first place. Obviously, the company would never invite irrelevant people in the first place as their presence would not matter in the first place.

I'm not sure, but about 20 or so meetings are usually on Zoom since it's way easier to plan online meetings than offline meetings. We have offline meetings too, but it's not often.

Everyone that works where I work, which is 18 people in total. So 18 plus the boss and the fiances guy so 19. We have had other meetings with clients but not everyone is part of those so they are smaller.

There are many companies that also hold online meetings and conduct virtual meetings as well. This involves getting people online and connecting with each other during the process. This may help more and more people to connect with each other and this is the benefit of technology.

Wow is it hard to do meetings and does everyone behaves good when we have offline meeting it's hard to make sure that everybody listens and behaves well

Not really an issue where I work. We tend to all get along and the boss is relaxed for the most part. Our monthly meets are only maybe 30 min to an hour long and it is just going over places where the company improved and where it is lacking.

Well, now things have changed a lot. There are many companies that conduct virtual sessions of meetings. This means that employees of a company can join the meeting along with the investors. This is a really great way of making sure that people interact with each other. Technology has changed the way we conduct meeting.

Actually it always depends on the kind of meetings you are holding.

There are business meetings which does not requires huge or large numbers of people at most 10 depending on their position to the business.

There are many meetings where only executives and high officials are invited because the meeting might be relevant to them. In many organisations, many managers conduct a meeting at a very low level in order to assess the performance of lower-level employees.

Some years ago when I was working for an advertising agency, we usually have our meetings on Thursdays and almost every top personnel in the business/company are present in the meeting which usually last for 1 hour. The CEO joins us once in a while.

There are many businesses that also invite their investors and clients in such kind of meeting. This is because certain kinds of meeting may involve clients and it is quite important to invite clients, depending on the nature of the business. This also involves advertising companies whom you worked for.

Actually I think it depends on the kind of business you are into.

If it's a very large kind of business which comprises of shareholders, definitely you may have more than if not 10 people in attendance.

The fact of the matter remains that there are many people who hold shares. How ever, the fact remains that they simply cannot invite each and every shareholder when it comes to conducting meetings. So, the number of attendees may vary a lot.

Well, it entirely depends on the type of meeting. But for me, i don't handle meetings with more than 10 people. That will be a messy crowd. However, when push come to shove, sometimes i end up having a meeting with 20 pax. But those are the ones i hate so much. Meetings should be limited to the essential people only.

I would never involve a lots of people for the meeting. I would consider relevant people only. This makes it much easier to conduct meetings and make sure that things run smoothly in the workplace. You may not need to involve a lots of people, as this may be much better. Employee productivity may get compromised if you involve a lots of irrelevant people.

I don't go to business meetings as I'm still a student but I go to classes and I find several of my course mates there. Working online has made things easy for me as I can work and also go to lectures too.

Currently, I am running a couple of small online businesses and I have a few virtual assistants working for me. My virtual assistants as assigned different kinds of work, some are designers, some are content creators, and some are marketers. I don't invite my staff to the meeting when the meeting is not related to their jobs. Therefore, I usually have just 1-2 staff in my meeting.
