How many Friends do you have?

I have 2 best friends, one from school that I have now known for apparently 20 years and one very recent friend that I've known for 3 years, met at work but she changed jobs and we still hang out quite a lot.

Then I have a couple of good friends and then there's people you know from earlier in life but don't see much but text often with.

The good/best friends I've lost is a much longer list, sadly.

We haven't talked in over a month and my last text message to him was a question, so not sure what's going on with our friendship. It's pretty much like I have no friends at this time, and as long as I keep myself busy doing what I enjoy, I don't mind much. But, if I'm feeling a little burnt out on what I normally do and have no one to talk to, the lonesomeness does kick in.

That sucks! I totally get the lonesomeness, usually I'm good at it but at some point it gets the better of me. Couldn't you just ask him what's up?

I'm the same way, most times I'm fine being alone, but other times I wish I had someone to be by my side.

Yeah, I might have to re-text him and see what's going on in his life.

I have a quite a few, my wife has a few best friends and all of the boyfriends/husbands were groomsmen for my wedding and we all have similar interests. We don't talk super consistently but we see them at family events all the time. I have a few other friends that have been distant lately but it's more-so that I'm busy doing things and one is playing video games all the time, the other is working an opposite schedule.
