How many different sites do you promote on?

Whenever you're interested in building traffic for your website, there's nothing like too much promotion. There are so many medium which can be used including social media platforms and ad networks. Paying for ads can bring immediate traffic but so is other things you can do to boost traffic organically.

How many different sites do you promote on?

I currently have my sites promoted on three or four different sites right now. I need to promote them on more sites however. I've even thought about making videos to promote them at some point too!

These days I mostly focus on marketing on my Facebook Pages and Twitter accounts. I have multiple Facebook Pages and Twitter accounts. I get decent traffic from Facebook and Twitter. I mostly do free promotion but once in a while I also do paid boosting.

I promote my forum on I would say 3 - 4 forums as regularly as I can but I will admit, I find I get more from social media platforms.

It doesn't hurt to promote your sites on social media and different sites too.

If you are looking for extra traffic, then marketing on social media platforms is the best way to go about it. Alternatively, you can promote your website on active forums as these forums always have members coming around to post across certain areas. While marketing on social media platforms can be free (unless you are paying to reach a wider audience), promoting your forum on certain forums is not always free.

Forum Promotion is definitely overrated in today's world, it was something fun ten years ago.
