How many ad units do you use on your webpage? I try to limit it to 3-5 ad units per page. However, since I use AdSense auto ads, and keep the ad fill rate to 60 percent, I sometimes have up to 7 ad units per page.

Limiting the number of ad units per page is a common practice, as it helps keep the page user-friendly and not cluttered with too many ads. The AdSense auto ads feature is a good way to optimize ad placement, as it automatically adds ad units to the page while keeping the fill rate at a balanced level.

I at the moment have the ad units per page set for 4 ads per page and I feel at the moment that is more than enough. It's enough for them to be there and for me to be able to monetize my forum but it's not too many that it makes them intrusive for members who use the site.

I think 4 ads per page is pretty decent. This will not create any issues for the visitors as well as the regular members of the site. Do you limit ad units on your home page? Some of my websites use only 1-2 ads on the homepage and have 4-5 ads on internal pages.
