How important is live chat?

I personally hate webhosting providers that do not offer live chat, as this is the fastest way to communicate with clients or a potential client incase they require any quick assistance. What do you think is it necessary for hosting providers to have live chat support or e-ticket is something you don't mind using instead?

I use namecheap and namecheap has live support. Once I fill the form, the support will come to the chat within 2 minutes and solve my problem in the next 5 minutes. If your business is a service provider, you need a live support.

I will prefer to get support from live chat instead of sending emails or submitting tickets that take fore ever to be replied. In have used live chat support for a local mobile wallet provider and their service was really good.

For someone like me who like to hear from someone before doing anything, I prefer sites that have live chat as you can easily navigate through the site as get necessary information and even raise a complaint.

Until recently I have never been a particular fan of live chat for any reason but a couple of weeks ago I had a message from my bank to say that they were sending me a new debit card as mine may have been used on a fraudulent site. I decided to use the live chat service on my banking app because I wanted to make sure the message I had received actually was from my bank and not some scam. I found it very quick and easy and they were able to check details to reassure me that the message had come from them. I shall be using live chat again!

As long as it is available, I use live chat service. This is quick and solves your problem easily. However, in terms of security, how reliable is live chat can be doubtful as someone might hack the service provider's support system.

Live chat is very important and effective apart from the fact that it is easy to use, it is absolutely realizable and fun too. Depending on the type of chat you are having.

Live chat is very important when it comes to business, this is because some people do not really believe in ordinary chat they prefer seeing you in person.

Yeah, name cheap live.io are also live chats that I refer to people because I also personally love websites that have a live agent I can ask my question in case I have any.

Live chat is very important because there are situations where a live can't will just be the only way to have saved the day for the person needing it

Live chat is a very nice tool for a website because it connects the web user to owner of the site. Your visitors can ask questions using the live chat and make enquiries.

I usually give special regard to any site that has live chat. It tells me how serious they are, even with that I don't hesitate to commit anything to them online.

Live chat is indeed very important and it is not only important for businesses that provide domains rather it is also important for almost all the businesses that offer some sort of product or services to its customers. Live chat enables your customers to deal directly with you in a matter of minutes. You do not need to wait for mails in order to get in touch. I personally believe that there should be more than three methods of communications: live chat, telephone support, e-mail support, support via social media networks, etc.

Any business be it online or offline that doesn't have support ticket, or live chat, its just worrisome. And their business will find it difficult to grow, cos customers will grow frustrated when their queries aren't answered.

Live chat is a great tool to have for supporting clients and I'll favour that if it's an option. I don't mind email support but that is always much slower so I'd prefer to use a live chat as my question has more of a chance of being answered within the hour.

I'll never use phone support though, it's such much harder to work through problems on the phone than via a screen.

I find live chat very important in business websites because that is the most common way of connecting to the admin in case there are questions. Even in e-commerce sites some online stores have their own live chat so that the potential buyers can do the inquiry and get the replay at once. Maybe the live chat will be the standard in the websites soon.

Live Chat for me was always better than contacting each admin individually, that causes delays sometimes and lot of misunderstanding

Thats exactly the importance of live chat, getting to confirm a vital information from a source or using it to get crucial information when you are desperate for an answer.

That is just what make me motivated when I visit a site especially a new website as I might decide to check the website often and how swift the response time is.

It always a good option as it will help us to get help as soon as possible and because of time zone difference, it is very hard to contact them in case of emergency. So it is always good option for me.
