I am running a few blogs that are monetized with Adsense. I also have blogs that were rejected by Adsense for thin content. When you are running a handful of blogs, one of the major issues you will face is updating your blogs with new content. How often do update your blogs with new content? I try to publish at least one article every month.

I think that you should be able to update your blog at least twice a week, with a once a week as the worst case scenario because that is the only way that you will be able to keep them interested.

I have never actually created a blog, but I have always wanted to have one. If I had a blog, then I would update it every time when I had time to go through my content and check my content.

When I had a blog, in the beginning I was posting 1-2 articles every week, then my post frequency reduced I published 1-2 posts in a month, then I limited to 1 posts in a month, and finally I stopped posting for months. My blog died.

So, was your blog generating enough revenue? Were you getting unique visitors? What about ranking of your blog? I think that people usually abandon their blogs when they do not generate revenue.

I'm of the opinion that a blog should be updated once in a week. There was a time I was visiting a blog to read contents on writing. At first I love the website that I read almost everything published on the site. After finishing everything published on the website, I got tired of the site because no new articles was published on the site. That was how I stop visiting site.

I am of the opinion that you should update your blog once a week preferably on Friday afternoon. This gives most government workers a chance to unwind and read it on their way home and on weekends in their leisure time.

I could publish mini-tutorials every day it doesn't need that you have a blog with the long article so for this case an article needs a lot of resources however mini-tutorials need a few resources.

Upgrading your blog again and again is something that I would not do all the time. The fact of the matter is that upgrading the blog consumes a lots of time as well.

I think it depends on how the target audience react to the stipulated period for the blog to be released. In some cases, you could decide not to drop based on the schedule and ascertain the traffic you would obtain as compared to the normal. This could help you figure out the next plan of action

Update blog is something hard and to do this every day you need a lot of ressources and also time given to the blog add also to the effort given in order to maintain high quality posts what I see people are little active first week then totally abondannate the blog next couple of days.

This is a correct assertion. The business model behind the blog may be a scintillating modicum of brilliance but the determination to carry it out as well as to maintain it is what will enable the blog to thrive and reach wider audiences

When I had a blog, I started out posting 1-2 articles per week, then I cut back on my posting frequency and published 1-2 items every month, then I confined myself to just 1 post per month, and then I stopped posting for months.

Updating blog could be a hard thing to do and this is why it is important to give this job to a professional who has the ability to handle the website and make it look nice.

everyone has a motive and reason for starting out a blog and your niche would greatly determine how often you should update your blog, some niche might be weekly while others can be daily.

I don't own a blog for now. When i do, i would try to update my blog weekly or at least once in two weeks. I've heard that updating one's blog regularly increases traffic on one's blog.

It's dependent on the reason you want to use the site - if you're trying to monetize it like you highlighted in your post, then you'll need regular updates (at least once a week).

If your blog is continuously pulling traffic from search engines as well as social media, you do not have to frequently publish new content, but if your blog traffic is subscriber based, you might have to publish new content frequently.
