How do you stop people from pirating your software?

Piracy is a huge issue with software and other such things. When it comes to developing any kind of software, there's always the risk of pirates taking it free of charge. Have you ever dealt with pirates before? And if so, do you code anything in your software to catch pirates? Or stop them from using said software somehow?

The most common methods to prevent software piracy include the following:

• License keys. This is the most widely used software piracy prevention method.
• Antipiracy software. If organizations are worried about someone stealing their source code, they should look into a code theft and antipiracy package.
• Print/copy restrictions. To protect content such as e-books and downloadable resources, a service such as Adobe Acrobat Pro can limit whether users can print or copy content from within protected documents.
• Copyright symbol. All websites and content should highlight that piracy is illegal and a crime and include a copyright symbol.

There is no way you can stop people from doing it because when software like photoshop is being pirated and adobe cannot stop this from happening when windows is being pirated and Microsoft cannot do anything, how can you?
