I was rejected by adsense a couple of times, even when I was approved, it took many weeks to earn the first dollar on my site. Running ads does not mean earning immediaytley.

I do not have experience with adsense or running any other ads o my site (in fact I don't even have a site), but I agree that you have ads, including adsese, does not mean youn start earning from day 1.

Personally I think allowing people to buy a 'premium' membership is a good thing to introduce as it can be offered to people for free to trial and then eventually they may end up buying. As for the products sales, I don't have any digital products to sell and drive money via my blog. I prefer the AdSense monetization.
