You can make money on all existing social media platforms, the only difference is some social sites offer ecommerce functionality and content monetization feature and some don't yet, you can sill use them t make money. Generally speaking, you can make money on social sites in three ways.
  • eCommerce
  • Content monetization
  • Marketing (Affiliate Marketing/Influencer Marketing)
You can do all of these on Facebook, on Reddit, you can use the third option.

No matter what method you want to use, there are few requirements to be fulfilled. You need to have a lot of followers, you need to get a lot of views and engagement on your content. If you are sharing external links, you also need to get a lot of link visits.

Do you make money on social media, how do you do it?

I recently started making some money on TikTok as an affiliate marketer. With over 4,000 followers, I felt it was the right time to give it a try. I hope to explore other ways to earn money on the platform. I also want to go live, but I'm too shy to do it. LOL!

If you have 4k followers on Tiktok, you might consider starting Tiktok shop. I have never tried myself but I can tell you it can be highly profitable because you will be selling your products through tiktok shop and you will make more money from your product compared to affiliate marketing.

I make money on Facebook and YouTube.

For Facebook, it's through ads, stars, and performance bonuses. The bonuses pay the most, usually around $500 to $1,500 a month. I achieve this by posting daily and at scale. I post mainly native content that is original. Video and images get better engagement which results in a better performance bonus.

For YT, it's mainly ads and revenue earn through the third-party site Patreon. I have around 50 Patreon members for my YouTube channel.
