Okay, so this problem is growing a lot. Nowadays we can see many companies getting involved in unethical business and they even risk the lives of people. One such example is that of Theranos. They were trying to create a machine that supposedly tests blood using some kind of technology. We also have the example of Ocean gate as well. This company made a really faulty submarine, which imploded in the ocean. Recently a few people have lost their lives. So, how can a person identify and avoid such kind of companies?

Best way I can put it, is by doing a lot of research on whatever companies you're looking into. Whether you want to work there or just want to see if they're a good or bad company. It all comes down to research, reading news stories on them, finding people who previously worked there for their opinions and so on. You can also look at their BBB page.

Since you are from the U.S, you may have heard about the Theranos company and the OceanGate company. They were engaged in unethical businesses and producing faulty products. What if a company tries to deceive people by creating such kind of products? Will the BBB actually identify such business initially? I do not know how BBB works.

It is difficult to say what companies are shady and unethical. In the name of reducing electronic waste, Apple stopped giving away phone chargers with the handsets and in the meantime earned $6 billion. Does this sound ethical to you? Gucci is selling a bag for $1200 that costs under $100 to make. Does this sound ethical to you?

These techniques are just made in order to reap more and more profits from people. The fact of the matter remains that they have started to charge extra for chargers and other accessories. This is not ethical, especially if I am already paying a huge amount of money in order to buy an expensive phone. However, certain companies just move to another level! The OceanGate company is just one of them.

The best way you can be able to find out that a company is shady and they are likely to be scam is by going into extensive and detailed research about the company and once you have been able to do that, you will definitely find out that their figures doesn't add up which is a very good sign that you should not invest in such a company.
