How do you handle your mailing list?

Many people use Mailchimp for their mailing list and automated emails, however I know many forums and websites simply use the built in newsletter options.

So what do you use for your newsletter and mass mailing tools? Do you use Mailchimp at all?

I want to start a mailing list. Do you recommend another software that is free other then Mailchimp?

No, actually. I love MailChimp, I really haven't used anyone else.

The only thing I do not like about it is you have to put an address.

Most of the time, if you're in the U.S, it's kinda required in order to mass send people emails, part of the Can Spam Act if I do believe.

Ah okay. At the moment I do not really need it as I have an internal system in place. It does not work really well but it is good for now.
