I know people who will fire their staff if someone complained, (talk about high standards?)

Anyway, if a member came up to you and complained about a moderator or another staff member, how would you handle it?

It depends on what happened. Some people complain because of personal reasons. In that case, I wouldn't do anything. But if they had a legitimate complaint, I'd definitely at least talk to the staff member.

It depends what happened and who was at fault. If the member is just exaggerating I'll just have a word but if it was the fault of the staff and its a repeated offence then I would fire them

Depends on the severity. Most cases I'll look into it and make a decision, other times it's usually all BS.

It depends on what has happened at the time. I would investigate it and talk to the member and the staff member and they make a informed decision. Most of the time it's okay and I shouldn't have any reason to fire staff members.

It seriously depends. We operate on what's called "Operational Transparency", that is, everything is public, and any staff member can easily reverse an action as well as see who made the action.

If a staff member's gone around and vandetta-hidden a bunch of posts, he's gone. There's no excuse for that sort of behaviour. Whereas if a staff member has had to go hide stuff because of rule breaches, it stays.

Normally any form of complaint will be channeled down to the appropriate Team Leader / Director who will be responsible for looking into the matter with an Admin overlooking.

The process involves evidence of the behaviour (Screenshots or Report feature) This evidence would then be reviewed by the Admins and their TL/DIR who would decide if it's in agreement of the original complaint. After this the staff member would be given a chance to explain themselves and any mitigating factors discussed. After this, a conclusion would be drawn about whether to dismiss, sanction or keep a staff member
