That's just the best way to persuade others. Just let them to see the benefits they will drive from it. And make them to made there decisions by themselves.One of the ways in which I persuade people to my own point of view is that I let them see the benefits they will derive from what I am planning or explaining to them. People are drived by benefits they are going to derive from something or an event. As a result of this knowledge, I apply it and use it to my advantage in most of the things I do especially in negotiation.
