I know traffic can come through images so I want to make sure all my images on my sites are completely SEO optimized and a big part of that deals with using the best ALT text for each image. How do I go about using/finding the best words?

We will have to make note of the target keywords, when it comes to SEO.

Also, long tailed keywords aren't recommended all that much, these days. So, it's better to do some market research for the top keywords. For that you can use either free SEO tools or paid SEO tools like Moz.

Then you can use those target keywords for your ALT text.

I will look into the Moz option for sure. Have you ever tried the Google webmaster tool? I can't remember what it is called but someone had recommended I use that for SEO and image names but I have no experience with it even though I do have access to it.

Your images ALT must have sense so you have to prevent using long ALT images, unrecognized and less sense ALT images like image1 or image28112020, you have also to use accurate ALT but in less word so instead of put The best place I recommand you to visit when you buy a ticket airplaine to Roma you may put Roma Best Place

Search engine robots cannot detect an object in a picture. alt and title help search engine robots understand what is in the picture or what information is in the picture .. if the picture is a banana you make a similar description .. <img src = "banana.png" alt = "yellow banana" title = "yellow banana ">

The best alternatives text to use to optimize your pictures on your website still remains your keyword. Just input your targeted keyword on the Alt text and you are good to go

You said this nicely and clearly. As far as I am concerned I only focus on doing SEO for content. I do use keywords for image title and description, however, I do not bother about using alt text for images. I believe when alt text is used you will be able to draw traffic from image search, however, I am not giving much importance to image alt text at this time.

Based on what I read here, I believe alt text in image is the word or set of words that identify the object in the image. Buy I still don't understand where do we puy alt text, and how we add alt text.

Chrome™ browser: point to the image with your mouse, right-click and choose Inspect from the quick menu (or use Ctrl-Shift-I on keyboard). A new pane will open at the right of your screen with the HTML code highlighted for that element. You can then view the alt text and other attributes for the image. An alt tag, also known as "alt attribute" and "alt description," is an HTML attribute applied to image tags to provide a text alternative for search engines. Applying images to alt tags such as product photos can positively impact an ecommerce store's search engine rankings.

Though l don't have much exposure on this topic, but l have done some work that requires it, and optimized my pictures which serve me the purpose. So l think you can try it out, since it worked for me. Though there may be better options though.

I understand Search Engine Optimization but what I do not understand is how images are SEO optimized. I guess you have to name the image using SEO keywords.

Then talking about ALT text, I wonder how this one works too. I think I have to check it out online.

The image you use on your content and website should not be just for ornamental purpose. The images should also have a SEO purpose, in other words, people must be able to find your content through image search

You have to make sure you use the best a ALT for your image editing so that you can include the good keyword than can bring in organic traffic and that will benefit your website and make them rank high on search engines.

Alt text for images is the text that describe the images. The primary purpose of using Alt text is your images will appear on image search and people might visit your website from image search results. The best Alt text is the text that best describe your content and the image

You must have to know a lot about how tondo this yourself before doing it else you should find someone who is very good at it to set it up for you, don't you think?

Most of people keep interest of content of banner so banner can be animated to feed user with general idea about different feature of a website then alt text rarelly guest took interest if he has something to know he clicks on the banner.
