How do you feel about Ngtlds?

Do you think .com really matters anymore, is it all about SEO instead?

I feel that they haven't been fully tapped into. With the right pairing, they make natural sense. As you say, golden from SEO perspective.

.Com is ubiquitous with the internet. But it took a good 30 years. Nothing beats a good .com.

I honestly love the look of a Ngtld like having Big.Red or Challenge.Monster, to me the best ngtld are single words that make sense but the premium reigsteration is killing me lol.

I couldn't agree more, I feel like the .com is just a must, specially in the US.

That would be what is called "domain hacks". Those are fun. Anyway, if it's not an incredibly serious or ambitious site, what does it matter anyway?

No domains hacks are one words like ta.co cryp.to wall.et etc

and why develop anything that isn’t not going to be serious?

Seems like it was also two word things. Oh, well, the idea is similar.

I suppose a silly domain hack could be a serious project. Why not?

it could be a serious project I didn’t say it couldn’t I was going off of what you stated about domain hacks are for fun if a project is not serious then why does it matter?
You stated :

I was trying to say when you develop anything or a site you should take it seriously.

Also it was never a two word thing.
They need another name for those things. :D Anyway, the main idea is that it's a witty saying caused by two or more words joined together with the domain extension. Well, a domain hack is a witty thing made up of one broken word.

Country domains are good for the websites that cater to local people for example, if your website caters to the people in the UK it is good to use dot uk domain. It will be easier to rank locally with country domains

The.com domain extension matters a lot because most people would easily remember this kind of domain than any other kind of domain and so it is not all about search engine optimisation.

Ng tlds I think is a country domain for nigeria. If you want a website to cater to the people in Nigeria, you can try Ng tlds as these domains will be easier to rank in local search
