There might be many people who may give many different definitions when it comes to business transparency. I do not think that business transparency means that a company should leak all the information, including private and confidential matters. I define business transparency quite differently. Being honest with the customer and offering high-quality products is what I call business transparency.

When your business is transparent, all the information your business customers are supposed to be privy to are made available to them. Everything about your business operations, products and services are made know to them. If it's a big limited liability company, they will publish their year's business account for the general public.

Business transparency is a very interesting concept. It allow the customer to grant some rights in order to scrutinise the company and how the company works and operates in order to offer the best kind of experience to customers.

The good thing about being transparent in your business is that it's always going to make your customers to have trust in your business operation that you are not going to deceive or lie to them about whatever is going on in your business and that is going to increase their loyalty and dependency on your business.

This is why many bigger companies are always transparent, no matter what. The main problem with running a really big business is the fact that people may always try to associate your business with different kinds of controversies, even if you are being transparent in the end. I do not know what is the best way to avoid this.

If you tell your customers this particular product which you're selling does a specific thing, make sure everything you told them about the product is true. This is what being transparent to your customers is in your business. If there's any problems faced, you're to inform your customers on time and don't wait for them to find out on their own.
