Feeding a pet dog can be a serous drain on a person's finance. So what are the practical tips that can minimize the cost of feeding a pet dog? Or I should consider selling it off?

Many people feed their dogs with feed available in the market which is expensive and instead you can give them home-cooked food and chicken which is better than that branded feed.

I have never been interested in cutting down on the expenses I am having to pay for my dog feeding. This is because I have made sure that before deciding to own a dog, I am financially capable of making sure that he eats the best food that is going to ensure his good health and I will never cut down on that for any reason whatsoever.

A dog carries expenses just like other pets, but it does not involve so many expenses to feed a dog or have it properly cared for, for example I spend about $22 for each dog more or less just on food, about $44 in total (it is a small dog of 7kg and another of 8kg) and medical care apart that they do not have much, I think if you can't afford those two things at the very least, you shouldn't have a dog.

Exactly! The comfortability of your pet is something that is very important because when it is very obvious that someone is going to struggle with feeding and making sure that his pets are healthy and well taken care of, it is never going to be good for that kind of person to own any kind of pet.

I don't know how to cut down expenses on feeding my dog because I don't cut down on my feeding expenses. If I can afford what I want to eat, I'll have it. I do it the same way for my dog.

Exactly! As long as I am not cutting down on my own food, there is no way I would be interested in cutting down the feeding of my dog. I would even be more willing to cut down on my own food than do anything about feeding my dog for any reason whatsoever. I have known that I need to take very good care of my dog before I got him.

I had a dog when I was a child, but I didn't raise her personally, and my parents didn't have the money to buy normal food, so the dog ate what we didn't eat, and sometimes it was very disgusting because they could mix everything together, but I couldn't do anything about it. But now, in my opinion, in order to reduce costs, you can give food that you haven't eaten, but don't mix it all together

We feed out dog home cooked food, we do not buy pet food. And we manage to save a lot of money.
