How do you communicate with your staff?

How do you communicate with your staff? How do you and your staff members keep up with what's going on with things on the forum?

We communicate via the Staff Lounge currently. On one of my older forums I kept in contact with my co-admin and moderators via Skype. This was before Discord existed.

We have a Discord with basically minimal channels. Welcome, Rules, Announcements, chat, clips (for my streams), and a couple voice channels pretty much. We have a staff lounge there as well. But for the bulk of the discussions I'm attempting to bring people to my site so I removed most channels on Discord.

When I had staff we used a private forum on the site. In this day I think discord would be good since they can send notifications to my phone in case of a crazy emergency

We got a staff area plus one often messages me on facebook. Usually when I'm asleep mind you.

If I had additional staff members, I would use a staff area for them to discuss aspects related to the board and how we can manage and improve. If they had Discord, I could also communicate with them there seeing as I check my phone consistently throughout the day it wouldn't be too long to get a reply.

We have Staff forums, and then a Whatsapp group so we can get one another's attention quickly if something needs to be addressed.

Using Whatsapp can be helpful since some may be in different countries. I would rather it be on Facebook Messenger if I was to do a chat group other than Discord, since it's an app I already use frequently.

We only have a small amount of staff on the two forums I run as an owner or co-owner at the moment but any discussions tend to go in the staff area that we have so that all staff can voice their opinions, post ideas and also discussions about members or issues on the forum can go there as well.

We usually make use of Slack as staff communication channel. It's one of the best staff communication platform that I've used. I had to ditch Discord for Slack as my staff communication channel.

I don't even have a slack account. Discord & Guilded offer all I need for IM chats basically (cept whatsapp specifically for family only).

Your own staff not being in contact with you is bad enough more so than you as the site owner to keep them in contact. Still, it's a single-person job. Many ways regard my point of view.
