How do you build reputation in your business?

High quality plays a very big role in a business. It's what makes you stand out from every other brand selling the same thing. Even if others sell cheaper but with low quality, most customers will have better review for your business irrespective of the high price. To me, price is not the problem but the quality.
No matter what we want to do as a business, we need to make sure we consider selling quality things over cheap things. Many people prefer quality goods and products over products that are cheap.

Selling quality at unbeatable price remains the very best way to earn customers reputation. We also need to have some customers care representatives that are very competent to handle any issue concerning the customers.
Your customers need to buy into whatever you're selling heavily because of how good they are in quality to help you and promote it. Sales based on recommendations is very easy to close with less talk compared to what you pass through trying to convince a walk in customers or first time customers who chats up online.

Every restaurant have their own cooking recipes which makes their own brand unique. If they all sell the same thing, there wouldn't be any different and something that's going to make a customer prefer to eat at McDonald's over Domino's.

Well, every restaurant may have a really unique recipe. They may never share them with others. However, I always wonder how do they manage to keep the recipe a secret for a long time? Having said that, just like any restaurant business, every business have their own business strategy that helps them become popular and build a good reputation in return.

I don't think their recipes stays hidden for a very long time because as long as workers move from one company to another, there is always a very high chance that the recipe which a particular restaurant is using is going to slip into another company knowledge base when their staff moves to a competitor.

If you want to build good reputation for your business then the easiest way to achieve that would be dealing on quality goods and services. This will naturally make the public see your worth and appreciate it.
