The one thing that i think will help you when it comes to the use of this social media platform is if you had to possibly try and create an advertisement as a picture or a video and then you can post it in facebook groups or even in the marketplace as well in order to try and see if people are interested. If you are posting in a group just make sure that it contains people that are your target audience.

For every ad you run on Facebook, you can track its insights. Just go to Ads Manager. Click Campaigns, Ad Sets, or Ads. Click View Charts to open the insights side pane. There you can see a visual representation of your ad's performance. It shows you the number, gender, age, and region of people who viewed or clicked on your ad.

I think that this is the same as what you can do in instagram as well because i have a page there where i am able to track the insights, however it does not give you detailed information like gender and age from what i know because on Facebook you can choose to hide your age in your privacy settings. From what i have seen they give you more information like the number of people that saw it and the number of engagements.
