Getting traffic to your YouTube channel has to follow basic rules and you will be good to go, keywords is the main thing of your video from your title to the body description of your video should carry important keywords and make sure all video produce should be quality one.
There are so many places where you can promote your youtube channel. But just remember that good quality content means good traffic. You can use online forum, you can use Facebook, you can use WhatsApp, you can even use paid for faster result. That is my take. Good luck!

When you have quality information then you can join some forums, social media and the rest. Therein you would be contributing by posting quality information and supporting it with your channel links.
YouTube works like blogs in someway. When creating contents on YouTube, you need to optimize your title, description,tags, thumbnails etc. Some people use click baits to attract visitors. You can also spread your videos on social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter.
All the features mentioned above were the conditions that must be met in the past for your channel to be promoted.
But now, things have changed. You don't necessarily need all those features anymore.
There are many sites that could help to promote your channel and get ranks. Now you could get subscribers and viewers easily now.
I've not been able to do much when it comes to promoting my YouTube channel. I have not even uploaded a lot of content on my YouTube but I am going to try my best to follow these tips in seeing my YouTube channel promoted and getting the activity it deserves.
