I learned it at a young age by taking classes, shaping it up by watching movies talking in English, reading articles, and many other things written in English on the internet, And chatting with native English speaker.they all helped me get better at speaking and written English, more or less

Learning English just like any other language requiring surgery steps to perfect. Spoken English and written English are two different things. Spoken English can be improved can be improved by practicing with a person full stuff online tutorials can also help. Written English can be improved by writing in general. Writing articles in size and small compositions can have a very large positive effect on our written in English. Same goes for other languages. English as a language is getting more and more easier to learn compared to several years back. A forum like this can also help one develop his English.

English is a common language in my location, so I learnt it while growing up and also in school, English is a basic subject they teach in school as well. Everyone has to go through English class

I learn English from some applications, school for sure and the websites.
Also I'm using Skype to met new people who speak English and make them as friends.
I have learned much from this point, it's really nice to have a partner speak English because you will improve your speaking and listening.

I am fluent in English and English is the language I grew up with. Even though I am fluent in the language I still find myself still learning so much about English and the language that I was never taught in school which you would have thought I would have. A lot of what I have learned I have learned through writing online as a freelancer.

I started learning English when I was a kid and it has helped me learn how to read and write in English. I like it when I meet people and they are impressed how I speak and write and that is as a result of learning for so many years.

You learn from school or from internet ? :D

I believe that I was able to learn how to speak and understand English from my parents at home and also from school as well. I might be able to pick up a few things from the internet when I was growing up but I wouldn't say that it is specifically through the internet that I was able to learn how to speak and write in English language.

I started learning English thanks to video games at a very early age, then I learned on my own by watching series and movies in English and reading books in English, although at first, it was quite difficult for me but with practice and perseverance I learned the language better.

I was born and raised in the US. I learned English from being a us citizen and learning in school. I learned English based off of hearing family and friends talk and of course school. It'a the only language I know though. I'm too lazy to learn other languages right now.

I learn how to speak English from some applications and also in school, I also learn by reading books. You can learn English by meeting people

Yes, if English is the means of communication which is used in your place, if it was what your parents introduced to you as a kid, it will be your first known means of communication.

I learned English from growing up in the United States and the mandatory classes in the subject all of us are required to go through. I added an English degree from college on top of that, and talking on online forums helped me to maintain an accessible and effective writing voice that was still able to communicate with ordinary people.

Well English is the lingua franca in my country... I'm an African...In schools here we use English to communicate.... As a toddler I started learning English from my parents and when I began to go to school I learnt from my parents

Parents are always supposed to be the first ones who are going to impact the first language that you know as a child because it is what they are speaking to you when you are born that is what you are going to learn and start your communication with it.

I learnt English unconsciously. I found out one day I could speak because my country was colonized by British. So English is the generally accepted language although we all have our individual languages. I guess the magic of schooling also influenced me.

Yes, the language which is dominantly used in your country is what you will learn and know how to speak it. It will be like your mother tongue because it is the first language you were introduced to.

I use English as a second language. I went to an English medium school and started learning English when I was 3. Since English was a compulsory subject until I went to college, I continued brushing up on my English language. I also attended English language courses online and offline to improve my language.

You learn from school or from internet ? :D

What I can actually admit to learning from the internet in terms of English is some of the vocabularies that I'm using whenever I'm trying to write or communicate with people. It is not something that was taught in the school for me because it is not possible for the school to teach me all the vocabularies that I know today.
