There's really so many horror TV shows out there their's so much to even explain I don't even know where to start because their all different. Shows like the walking dead, Z Nation, ETC. Now I finished up Z Nation but got bored of The Walking Dead after the first few seasons when they started camping into the "prison." It threw me off guard and I just couldn't stand the sitting still setting. I mean it's a zombie show, give us some death!
On the other hand American Horror Story is it's own kind of horror, with Insane Asylum's, haunted houses, witches, etc. It explores the natural fears and scary things in the real world.( It's not scary though.)
Overall my thoughts on horror shows is the setting has to be multiple/different places, otherwise the series gets boring to me,
