Holidayify your forum

Yes, I try to make it festive except for religious holidays like Easter and Christmas. I try to make mine more generalized for the seasons when it comes to those holidays as not everyone is Christian.

Whether it's Easter, Christmas or Halloween, do you choose to "holidayify" your discussion board? This could involve making slight changes to your theme, logo and banner. This means adding connotations in the design of, what's being celebrated.

Some people think that by doing this, your adding value to the forum.
I think that this is a good idea because there is a lot of people that will be in that sort of festive spirit and therefore you will be able to enhance that spirit on your forum as well.

I don't own a forum for now, but when i eventually do, i would definetely holidayify my discussion board on my forum. I believe it would add value to my forum.

I do not holidify my forum, my forums are small communities with few members and fewer activities, they even lack organic activities. Therefore, I do not bother with changing looks of my forums to reflect holidays and events.
