Having an arcade on your site

Most forums I went to had an arcade on their site where users could play games, and sometimes if you beat a high score it would showcase it on your profile if you want. I remember trying to break high scores of forum members to get the icon for winning in that game. But someone always beat me after I beat their score.

Anyway, I think it'd be cool to add an arcade of flash games on your site or forum. What do you think?

I had never heard of anything like that in a forum, but it sounds very interesting, I really like flash and arcade games, but I have not been in any forum that had a dedicated room with games of that style, maybe it is a good way to disconnect and have fun while competing with other members of the forum for the highest score.

I own multiple forums and none of my forums have an arcade or even a relaxation room. My forums are niche specific and I want users to discuss the niche topics. I have never owned a gaming forum, however, I am a member on multiple gaming forums and there are arcades on a few forums.

Having a fun and games section on the website or forum is a great way to make your members and guests engage on your website. You can even pay your members for playing games. This may also allow you to maintain your traffic as well and even increase the click through rate if your members navigate through many pages in order to play games.

I don't think I've ever added an arcade to any of my forums. Granted, I've mainly owned resource forums where it's a totally unnecessary feature. I wouldn't want to add a code to my board for an arcade because it seems like such a code would be massive. Anywho, with gaming services like Steam and Epic and the death of Flash, arcades aren't much of a thing anymore.

Unfortunately, I haven't bothered about having an arcade of flash games on my forum. I don't really fancy it and I haven't been into using it on forums where they are set up. This is the reason why I don't see it as something that's useful for me to include in my community.

I remember when I had Chat Addicts before I closed it in 2017. In the beginning, I had an arcade on my forum but we started out on vBulletin. I used to have a ton of games and we used to do competitions for the top spot and the person who could get the most top spots within the arcade.

After a while the arcade I believe became discontinued and we stopped using it.

I would love to see another one for Xenforo but nothing yet.
