Have you used Threads to market your website?

Threads is a social media site that was released almost a year ago now, July 5th 2023 but it has not become as popular as the likes of X (formally known as Twitter), Instagram and Facebook.

I created an account on Threads back when it opened but will admit that I only used it a handful of times and haven't bothered in such a long time.

It got me curious though if anyone has used it to market their website. If you have, have you had any success with that marketing? Would you advise others to use Threads for marketing?

I haven't really used Threads at all, I don't think it's as popular as Twitter so it'll probably not give you much traffic. It doesn't hurt to promote everywhere you possibly can though!

I created a page but haven't used it. I might take a look into it some more in the near future.

I joined Threads a couple of weeks when a dear friend from my real life invited me to join him there. However, I am not active on the platform yet. There are two ways to gain traction on social media, either you have a lot of followers or you pay for ads. These days it is really difficult to build followers.

Threads is a dead or should I say a failed social media platform which Mark Zuckerberg tried to copy Twitter/X with but unfortunately it fell right flat on its face. As a result of this, I haven't bothered using it for anything. I can't remember the last time I logging into my account on Threads.
