Have you seen a referee being given a card before?

Vitinha just gave referee Michael Oliver a yellow card in the ongoing match between Portugal vs France in the Euro 2024 tournament.

It was such a funny scene to watch take place as the match was going on. The referee's yellow card fell off and Vitinha picked it up and gave him a yellow card 😂.

This is something that I had not seen before until this match and I can see why it would be comical. I don't watch much football but I have been following the Euro 2024 tournament and this was one thing that I saw and had a little giggle about.

I guess with tournaments like this and how much pressure is on not only the players but also the referees, it's nice to have that comical moment to lighten the mood a little.
