Have you quit red meat?

There are some researchers that have said that taking red meat can cause some health issues. Some are also of the opinion that taking just vegetables is better. Did you quit red meat or still take it?

I quit all meat in 1996 when I became vegetarian. Now vegan.

Personally, I haven't quit eating red meat 100%. I might say to have cut its consumption to about 70% and replacing it with eating only fishes, turkey and chickens most of the time.

Red meat is delicious, but there's been a lot of research relating red meat to higher risk of heart disease.

Trying to incorporate more legumes, beans, and vegetable-based proteins into my diet as a replacement.

The way to quit red meat is to stop eating it. I can't think of any other way around it. You have to deprive yourself of the swetenss and how tasty the meat is for the sake of your health.

Is red meat really bad? I do not think so. Even if you eat veggies in excess, they can create issues. Therefore, you should not be afraid of red meat. All you need to do is eat in moderation. I eat read meat occasionally.

I mostly eat white meat (chicken and fish), however, I also enjoy read meat once in a while. Since I don't eat excessive read meat and I do not yet have any kind of heart complication, I have never thought about quitting read meat.

I haven't had red meat in more than 10 years. I started being very careful about my health over 10 years ago. I'm more careful with what I eat or drink since then.

I wouldn't say that I have quit all red meat but I have cut out a lot of red meat from my diet due to me having a hiatal hernia and high fatty foods can cause me to have a flare up which is never a nice experience, the pain can be excruciating.
