Have you moved on to electric vehicles yet?

Electric vehicles are becoming more popular these days and it's making me wonder how long gas cars have left. Since electric has taken over, have you moved on to electric cars yet? I think one day I would, but I need the money to do it.

Certainly, people are showing more interest in electric vehicles but I think electric vehicles still have a long way to go. Electric vehicles still cost more than conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles and if you are buying an electric vehicle you have to replace the batteries soon enough which costs around 40% of the vehicle price, if you are going long distances there is also a need for charging infrastructure. If your country has cheaper electricity and better charging infrastructure for electric vehicles then you should go for an EV.

I am using a hybrid. I think hybrids should be the new standard and that should be the case moving forward. I think it is a mistake to force everyone onto electric when we have not advanced charging yet. Most cars need 60 minutes to several hours to charge. It needs to be able to get a full charge in under 2 minutes and they need to preform better in colder climates. Also, we need better electric grids cause as it stands right now our structures can only allow maybe 15% of people to drive EV cars. Unless you plan on walking everywhere, this needs to be addressed. They do not want everyone driving anymore though.
