Forum contests are always incentivised which means that those who participated in the contest will get something in return. They are expected to carry out stipulated tasks in the contest before they can eligible to win the contest incentives.
It's very unfortunate that I've been in a forum where a contest was held but no one wants to join it. Even if the contest get participants, it's not going to be more than 2 people.
